The composer and violinist Josef Suk was both the pupil and son-in-law of Dvorįk. He was a prominent member of the Czech String Quartet and, in 1922, was appointed professor of composition at the Prague Conservatoire. His compositions reflect Dvorįk’,s influence and contain elements of Bohemian folk music. |
